Lincoln County School District has several administrative changes in the upcoming 2023-24 school year.
Current Director of Secondary Education Majalise Tolan will begin her new job as Superintendent on July 1, 2023. Tolan has a three-year contract to serve as the district’s top executive after Dr. Karen Gray announced her retirement effective June 30.
Newport Middle School Principal Aaron Belloni was tapped to take over as Director of Secondary Education. Current Sam Case Principal Marty Pérez will move to NMS as Principal. Sam Case Assistant Principal Marcy Doyle will step into the Principal position at that elementary school.
Crestview Heights Vice Principal Sandi Battles was selected to replace Principal Mike Gass who plans to enjoy his retirement. Chloe Minch will serve as Principal of Toledo High School replacing Brent Belveal who stepped out of retirement to serve as Interim Principal.
In District personnel changes, Carol Stock was named Special Education Director and Mary Crawford-Roberts was appointed Special Education Coordinator.
The District will engage in a search process for open Assistant Principal positions at Oceanlake, Crestview Heights, and Sam Case.
