Dear Students and Families,
As summer is coming to a close, Newport High School is thrilled to welcome you back for the 2022-2023 school year. We are excited to celebrate Lincoln County School District’s centennial this year! Please see details below to help us transition back to school smoothly.
- Registration: A big THANK YOU to all of the families that have already registered for the 2022-2023 school year! We still have over one hundred students who have not completed the process. Registration is a yearly process that is required to ensure we have up to date safety and contact information. If you still need to register, CLICK HERE. - Transportation: All transportation requests are set-up through the Online Registration Process. For more information CLICK HERE
- First day of School:
- Tuesday, September 6th, 2022: All 9th graders and New to NHS students
- Wednesday, September, 7th 2022: All Students
- Bell Schedules:

- Doors open at 7:30 am

- Student Schedules: Schedules are available on STUDENTVUE and PARENTVUE under the Gradebook Tab. Once the school year starts, they will also show under the Attendance tab. Students who wish to make schedule changes should complete the online google form from their school google account. New students can contact the counseling center for an appointment at crystal.greenawald@lincoln.k12.or.us or 541-265-9281 ext 252.
- School Calendar: The School Calendar is available CLICK HERE. Up to date activity calendars can be found on our website home page or by adding the NHS Activity Calendar on Google.
- School Supply List: Most classes allow students to select the school supplies that best meets their academic schedule and organizational preference. Specific requirements will be reviewed when class syllabi are reviewed in class. For helpful supply examples: CLICK HERE
