Dan Schaffeld is a football enthusiast, semi-pro athlete, and coach originally from Boise, ID. He played football at the University of Montana-Western, graduating in 2015. For the past three years he has been an assistant football coach at Bishop Kelly High School, but before that he was the head football coach at Elder Grove Middle School in Billings, MT. Football has been a lifelong devotion and he looks forward to bringing his passion and positive attitude to Newport High School. He will also be joining the staff at Yaquina View Elementary as a full time PE teacher. Please welcome Dan and his family (fiance, Megan and 7 month old daughter, Bonnie) to the Cub community!
