Newport High School is hosting the 4th Annual Trivia Night on January 18, 2020 at 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 6PM. All proceeds from the event will go toward the College and Career Readiness Program at NHS to support the sustainability efforts of the GEAR UP Grant when the grant cycle is over. The goal of the program is to ensure students are prepared for, pursue and succeed in post-secondary education, whether that be a Bachelor’s Degree, Associates’ Degree, Certificate, Apprenticeship or other training. Proceeds from the event will go towards continuing outreach activities such as college visits, financial aid awareness nights, tutoring, summer camps, career fairs and more.
NHS is current looking for Table Hosts that would like to form teams of 8 people. Each table costs $160. Appetizers and desserts will be available as well as a no host bar. There will also be a raffle and prizes for the winning team. This event is for adults 21 and over.
