FAN – FUNDING ACADEMICS NOW is the high school booster group dedicated to funding academic and extra-curricular activities and needs for teachers and students of Newport High School.  We have a couple major fundraisers throughout the year and meet monthly to discuss ways to support the teachers and school – it only takes a small amount of time to make a difference – it takes a village to raise a Cub!

The meetings take place the first Wednesday of the month.  The next meeting is Wednesday, October 1st.  Meeting starts at 7:15 am.  Room opens at 7:00 for socializing in Room E-8 at Newport High.   We welcome all parents, especially those with high schoolers who would like to attend our meeting – it is open for any and all.

The first fundraiser is the FAN Spelling Bee on October 20th – which is rapidly approaching and WE COULD USE YOUR HELP.
