Newport High School Congratulates the following fall athletic teams for being named on the Academic All-State List.

The OnPoint Community Credit Union Academic All-State Program recognizes outstanding achievement in the classroom through the Oregon School Activities Association (OSAA).  Newport High teams in each OSAA sanctioned activity submit grade point averages (GPA) from the most recent transcripted grading period and are ranked against other 4A schools.

Newport teams that earned a top ten ranking among 4A schools:

• Boys Cross Country 4th place, 3.70 GPA
• Girls Cross Country 5th place, 3.84 GPA
• Football 5th place, 3.16 GPA
• Girls Soccer 7th place, 3.66 GPA
