The NHS Interact Club is collecting books through November 23 to restock Newport’s Little Free Libraries. We’re accepting all genres, but children's books are top priority to support early literacy and family reading time! Drop your donations off at NHS today!
The Newport High School Jazz Band had an incredible opportunity to participate in the Oregon Coast Jazz Party! Our students received a special clinic with artistic director John Clayton before the afternoon performances. Following the clinic, our students volunteered as ushers for the first session and had the opportunity to experience world-class live jazz right here at the Newport Performing Arts Center. We are grateful for opportunities like these that allow our students to learn from professional musicians, serve our community, and experience the power of live music!
