Parent, Students and Families...
Attendance Matters be here everyday and every period.
It is cold and flu season...stay healthy!!
When should my child stay home from school?
Based on Oregon’s When to Keep Your Child Home guidance, please keep your child home if they have:
• Fever (100.4°F/38°C or higher)
• A new cough illness that is frequent/severe enough to interfere with school
• Vomiting (2 or more unexplained episodes in 24 hours) or diarrhea (3 or more loose stools in 24 hours)
• Difficulty breathing or shortness of breath (seek medical care right away if severe)
Returning to school: Students may return when they have been fever-free for 24 hours without fever-reducing medicine and other symptoms are improving for at least 24 hours.
Please report all absences to Taft 7-12...TIGERS ROCK!
