Please join us at the 2025 Newport Spellapalooza on Sunday, October 26th at 7PM

This hilarious annual Community Spelling Bee is lots of fun and is the primary event that the NHS-FAN booster group uses to raise funds to support academics at Newport High School. This year, the Bee will take place at Newport High School, and we need your help: Join us on Oct 26th at the Bee and please share the attached flyer and encourage others to attend. Cheer on your favorite teams!

At the Newport Spellapalooza, teams from the community with clever names and silly costumes will compete for supremacy in an alphabet soup smackdown for all to enjoy. Teams that misspell words in the first two rounds can get back in the game if they or members of the audience bribe the judge, which means the worse they spell, the more money is raised! Things get slightly more serious in round three when no more bribing is allowed. Who will emerge as the champion spellers of 2025? Come to the Bee at Newport High School on October 26th at 7PM to find out.
